Privacy & data promise
Repairing a phone means holding something very personal. This page says what we collect, why, who sees it and how long we keep it — in plain language.

Translations of this page into Sinhala and Tamil are provided for convenience. If anything is unclear, the English version applies.
The short version
- We never need your passcode, Apple ID or Google account to repair your phone, and we will never ask for them.
- We collect only what we need to book, repair, deliver, warrant and support your repair or order.
- We don't sell your data, and this website has no advertising trackers or analytics cookies.
- Card payments are handled by the payment provider. We never see or store your card number.
What we collect, and why
| When | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You book a repair | Name, phone number, email (optional), device model, IMEI or serial (optional), the issue | To repair the device, contact you and issue your warranty |
| We work on your device | Photos and videos of the hardware taken by our technicians, QC results, battery readings | To document the work. You see them after verifying the last four digits of your phone number |
| You send a device in | Pickup and return address, declared value | To create the waybill and arrange insurance with the courier |
| You buy from the shop | Name, phone, delivery address, items, payment status, and the bank slip image if you upload one | To confirm payment and deliver your order |
| You apply for a trade account | Shop name, contact person, email, phone, city, expected volume | To review the application and run the account |
| We message each other | The WhatsApp messages you send us and we send you | To keep you updated and answer questions |
What we don't do
We work on the hardware. We don't browse, copy or back up the personal data on your device. Please back up your data before you hand a device over or send it in — we take every care, but a repair involves working on the very components that store it.
Who we share it with
- Couriers (Domex, Koombiyo, Curiel) — your name, phone number and address, so they can collect and deliver.
- Payment providers (PayHere, Stripe) when you pay by card, and the bank when you transfer.
- WhatsApp (Meta), which carries the messages we exchange with you.
- Our hosting and database providers, who store records on our behalf under their security commitments.
- The authorities, only when the law requires it.
Cookies and similar storage
We use only what the site needs to work, and it all stays on your device: your light or dark theme choice, your shopping cart, and a note that you have already seen the intro animation. Staff and trade-partner sign-in uses a secure session cookie. There are no analytics or advertising cookies. YouTube videos load only after you press play, in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.
How we protect it
- The public tracker shows only the device and stage. Names, notes, photos and amounts need the last four digits of the phone number on the booking, and repeated wrong guesses are blocked.
- Order, waybill and warranty links are long and unguessable, and warranty QR codes are cryptographically signed.
- Staff and partner areas require a password; connections to this site are encrypted.
How long we keep it
We keep job and order records for as long as your warranty runs and as long as accounting and legal obligations require, then delete or anonymise them. Photos stay linked to their job for the same period.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it (unless we must keep it by law). Sri Lankan data-protection law gives you rights over your personal data; to use them, contact us using the details below and tell us the Job ID, order number or phone number involved.
